“My so-called Friends”

Friends are worth keeping for. I treasured them in my heart-seals them, chain them, and locked them. They are my helping hand when I am in need, my shoulder to cry on when I grief, my comfort when I am distressed. They are the sunshine after the rain. I meet them when I was in High School. They have their own unique personalities.

I’m vhan2x at your service. I want you to meet my friends.

Bong – a good dancer, serious type but when He is the mood he is very used on playing pranks on us, he has many thoughts in his mind and make us laugh out loud.

What’s with my name?

It was my Grandmother who had the idea to name me Vanessa. She get that name from “Valentines” since I was born in Valentines Day. She said, to make it different instead of Valentines, she preferred Vanessa, and she thought it sounds so close. But when it comes to my Birth Certificate , my Father due to some reasons that made him rush,, he accidentally wrote it into “Vanisssa”. That’s why instead of Vanessa it turned out to be Vanissa.

My name is Vanissa Lyn Petenio Basa and my friends call me vhan2x. in the Webster Dictionary it means “The Vanguard” the front part of the army or the leading position of any movement. Just like me, I used to be the first. First sa kabuang, first sa basta maglakaw, first mag start ug conversation, first mag pakatawa ug first sa kaon. Hehe…

There’s nothing really special with my name. My name was not found on the Dictionary. But take note when it is not found in the Dictionary it is different. When it is different it is unique. Therefore, my name is unique. I am the only one who has given that name. Thanks to my Father who mistakenly misspelled my name.

Why I chose Psychology

Before entering my colloge life I am so worried because at that time I cannot decide what I am going to take. But later my parents said that if I study here in Brokenshire College they want me to take Bachelor of Science in Psychology. So I enrolled here in Brokenshire and take Psychology as my course.

I chose Psychology because my parents wants me to take this and I myself also love to take Psychology because I want to help those people who have mental disorders.
